Acres can provide advice on water bores and systems. The drilling contractors we recommend use a down-hole hammer drilling rig – which means they can drill through rock. They are able to drill to a depth of 60 metres. This is essential when drilling a bore in the hills.
Once the bore has been drilled and cased, the flow rate will be measured. We will then recommend and install a pump suited to your bore, along with any required control equipment including pump monitors, dry run protection, and pressure switches.
Once the pump has been installed, the bore is ready to be connected into your reticulation system.
